Birdies Garden Products NZ are here to help in the event you need to return an item, or need a refund and we'd like to make the process as easy as possible for you!
If your garden bed or planter box is damaged
Please check your order when you receive it, ensuring there is no damage or issues that you are unhappy with. If there are any missing pieces, or defaults that you would like to query, please email Scott at scott@birdiesgardenproducts.co.nz as soon as possible so we can get this sorted for you.
How to return a Birdies Garden Products NZ garden bed if you've changed your mind
We really love happy customers and strive for this. If for some reason there is a reason you've changed your mind we are happy to accept a return, provided it is in new, unopened condition. You will need to pay for return shipping to our address, we will send you an email with a courier label for printing, to attach to the box.
Terms of Refunds and Returns
- Products sold on sale, or with a gift card are not eligible for refunds or returns
- Products sold as seconds, including damaged boxes, are not eligible for refunds or returns
- Returned items and refunds must be in their original packaging and, where possible, unopened
- Returned items cannot have first been used (i.e. built and used in the garden)
- Birdies Garden Products NZ may, at any time, request photos of damage as evidence before accepting a return on a damaged or defective item before it is shipped back to us
We understand that it is not always possible to see defects until you have taken the products out of the box. If this is the case, please put the items back in the box as carefully as possible.
To make a Return for Refund, or Replacement
If you need to make a return of any parts of your order, here are the steps you need to take:
- Email Scott on scott@birdiesgardenproducts.co.nz with your name and order number and let him know what the issue is
- Scott will respond and get things in motion, including organising for return shipping (if it is within 30 days of your order) and providing you with an address for return shipping back to us (if it is outside 30 days)
- Send us the items back and we'll let you know when we've received them!
Getting your Refund
Once you've sent your goods back to us and they've been received, we will inspect them and ensure they are eligible for the refund you have requested (as per the terms above). If it is approved, you will receive your refund automatically via the payment method you used when ordering.
If you are awaiting a refund after you have been notified, please regularly check your account, credit card or bank statement as they can take between 5 and 7 working days to be processed.
Please note, no refund or returns will be made for any product that is incorrect due to customer error.
